MARIE KLODSEN SABIN
August 25, 1928 – May 2, 2015
She was predeceased by her husband William C. Sabin, who died in 2006. They had been married for 56 years. Survivors include sons William (Marsha), Andrew (Margaret), & daughters Jean Marie Crutchfield (Dave) & Elizabeth Girona (Francisco). Also her brother Eugene Klodzen; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Loretta McInerney who died in 2013. Marie was a 2nd generation Washingtonian and except for a few brief years in New Jersey lived her entire life in DC and Montgomery County. After Bill retired they traveled, doing many elder hostels until they discovered the joys of Florida. Relatives and friends may gather at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd, Silver Spring, on Saturday May 9, from 10:30 to 11 a.m., where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. All are invited to a Celebration of Life reception immediately following at Leisure World, Clubhouse 1, the Maryland Room. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the charity of your choice.
