Elena Ojeda Narido (Age 85)
On Saturday, April 29, 2017, formerly of Olney, passed away at San Diego Post-Acute of natural causes.
Daugher of Melanio and Priscilla Ojeda, Mrs. Narido was born November 5, 1931 at Manila, Philippines. She immigrated to the United States in 1987 with her beloved husband, Florencio (Guinto) Narido. Employed for many year at MacDonald’s Corporation in Olney, MD Elena was widely respected throughout the community. She leaves a rich legacy of faith, love and kindness.
Ms. Narido was preceded in death by Florencio, and is survived by her nine children: Rolando Narido of Oceanside, Calif.; Norma Farrington of Spring Valley, Calif.; John-John Narido of Los Angeles, Calif.; Priscilla Matic of the Philippines; Mercedita Gregorio, Francisco Narido, Annie Narido, Angelina Narido, and Ditas Garcia of Olney.
She is also survived by one sister, Betty Santos of Jacksonville, Florida, 16 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends may call at Collins Funeral Home, 500 University Boulevard West, Silver Spring, MD, (Valet Parking), Wednesday, May 10, 2017, from 7 to 9 pm and at Church of Christ of Latter Day Saints Olney, 17700 Old Baltimore Road, Olney, MD, on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 9:30-11 am where service will be held at 11 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
