Lilo is survived by sons, Peter (Sheila), Stephen (Maryann), and daughter, Lisa (David), as well as by her eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Heather, Bridget (Chris), David, Kelly, Charlotte, Jack, and Meaghan. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother (or “Oma”… grandmother in German), as well as loyal friend, walking partner and avid bridge player. Lilo was a past member of the Women’s Club of Chevy Chase and The St. John’s College High School Mothers Club. She served thousands of hours as a volunteer at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Holy Cross Hospital and MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. She is also remembered for knitting hundreds of baby blankets and sweaters for newborns.
