MARIAN RICKER HOFFMAN
Of Leisureworld, Silver Spring, MD, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2012. She was predeceased by her first husband, Stuart C. Ricker (1972) and her second husband, Charles “Karl” W. Hoffman (2007). She is survived by her daughter, Susan T. Romano and her husband, Leonard; loving grandmother of Lucian S. Romano and his wife, Jennie of Laytonsville, MD, Mary Jo Kight and her husband, Zachary of Brookeville, MD, Regina L. Lindquist and her husband, Andrew of Derwood, MD, Cristin S. Lauer and her husband, Brandon of Columbia, MD. She is also survived by ten cherished great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Former employee of NASA and the IRS. Her hobbies included travel, films and politics. Relatives and friends may call at Our Lady of Grace Church, 15661 Norbeck Blvd., Silver Spring, MD on Thursday, August 2, from 10 to 11 a.m., where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Montgomery Hospice, Casey House, 1355 Piccard Drive, Suite 100, Rockville, MD 20850.
