On Monday, May 6, 2013, of Silver Spring, MD. Beloved husband of Ethelwyn Willis and the late Enola J. Willis; father of Daniel Joseph, Paula Theresa, and the late Frederick Douglass Willis, Jr.; step-father of Rev. Vernard L. Caples, Jr., and Jacquelyn C. McFadden. Also survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at Church of the Resurrection at Riderwood Village, 3110 Gracefield Road, Silver Spring, MD on Friday, May 10, from 1 to 2 p.m.; where the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Interment Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
