Beloved husband of Ann Tartaglia; father of Paul (Patty), John (Shawna Henry) and Maria (Phillip Pearl); grandfather of Melinda (Andrew Hepworth), Adam, Nicholas, Emily, Samantha, Jennifer, Suzanne and Natalie. Dr. Tartaglia, Georgetown University B.S. 1958, M.D. 1962 served in the US Air Force and has been on the Georgetown University medical faculty continuously since 1968, having served as Director of Student Mental Health services from 1988-2001. Relatives and friends may call at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Summit Ave. and Cable Drive, Kensington, MD, 20895 on Friday, September 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and on Saturday, September 21, from 10 to 11 am, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
